Since 2005, GPP Business Park has been transforming the post-industrial areas on the border between the cities of Katowice and Siemianowice Śląskie into a modern business and innovation zone with a focus on technological development in line with the pro-environmental trend.
The GPP Business Park, a complex of 4 office buildings and a production and warehouse hall, was built here over a period of several years. The facilities were built in accordance with the principles of sustainable construction, and the technologies used in them make them dictate trends related to energy efficiency. The use of trigeneration, photovoltaics and gas heat pumps has translated into energy consumption halved and utility costs reduced by 50%.
Completed in 2019, the Konrad Bloch building is the only energy-plus office building in Poland in the areas of ventilation, heating and domestic hot water preparation. This means that it produces more energy than it needs. The energy-saving solutions implemented and the concern for users and the environment have been recognised with an international certificate. The Goeppert-Mayer office building was the first office building in Poland to be awarded the BREEAM Certificate at the highest Outstanding level. All GPP Business Park office buildings have BREEAM Certificates.
The latest technologies used in the construction of the complex are responsible not only for lower costs, but above all for greater comfort, which translates into health and productivity of its users.
